Take this great opportunity to explore and experiment with fabric textures and embellishments.
During the three day course you will make a Nuno cushion cover, a collaged cobweb scarf and a layered, stitched and embellished wall hanging.
Day one will be spent really getting to know the possibilities presented by the Nuno technique. We will make Nuno collaged fabric and produce a cushion cover. We will also start an ongoing project by trapping and layering fabrics, threads and fleece to produce a half felted piece which will then be embellished and stitched into. This piece will be worked on during the three days to produce a wall hanging. On the last day we will blend colourful fleece together to make a cobweb scarf. There is of course room for flexibility and I will spend the first half an hour finding out what you would like to achieve from the workshops.
