with Isabel Dibden-Wright
The aim of these four workshops is for you to see the creative potential of your sewing machine, enabling you to use a range of exciting stitch methods. you will create a library of samples that you can then use in future projects. Even a basic sewing machine has tremendous potential!
There will be demonstrations, followed by time for you to learn the methods to experiment with and develop at home. Some of the techniques to be covered will be: appliqué, cutwork, decorative facings, free machine embroidery methods, layering, tucks, pulled work, using shirring elastic. Fabrics and materials will be supplied. You will need to bring your sewing machine.
