Dust down your sewing machine and bring it along to this friendly and encouraging class.You will become more confident at using a sewing machine.

Do you need help understanding garment patterns? How to hem, stitch seams and make bags? Then this class is for you, come along and enjoy developing your sewing skills.

The class is small a maximum of five and so you will benefit from seeing what other students are making too. If you haven’t got a machine then borrow one of ours.

Cost £58 for 4 sessions including materials, equipment and refreshments.

Rag Rugging Workshop

Design and make rag rug samples and learn useful techniques to be able to make your own full sized rug.

We will demonstrate the techniques of using ripped fabrics with a hessian base fabric so that you can make a thick hard wearing rug. An excellent way of using up old fabrics, so start sorting out and choosing some lovely colours that you might like to use in your rug sample.
