Len Stevens
Len Stevens is a skilled ceramicist, Ocarina Maker and performer. Having been an Art teacher in London and Cambridge for many years he took early retirement after training in ceramics at Goldsmiths College, London.
Now living in Devon, he concentrates on his own sculptural ceramics and the development of ocarinas, mainly in bird forms. His work sells at the Appledore Craft Compeny Gallery and in Rope Walk Pottery in Bideford. He has lately taken to painting semi-abstract acrylics and watercolours, much of which is inspired by the surroundings of his house overlooking the River Torridge.
He loves traditional folk music and plays melodeon for Morris dancing as well as a variety of other instruments.
